June Mutt of the Month: Sunny

Meet Sunny, our June Mutt of the Month. This adorable pup found her forever home after being adopted at the 2024 Mulligan’s Mutt Madness.

“It was such a blessing to bring our grandson Lincoln his new best friend, and I’m so grateful that we were able to bring her home with us,” says adopter Debbi. “The best part is watching Lincoln become a responsible pet owner and all the love that she gives him.”

Whether it's camping with the family or simply enjoying their own backyard, Sunny and Lincoln are a perfect example of how green spaces bring joy and a healthy lifestyle to pets and people. These daily adventures highlight the very principles of “backyarding” championed by the TurfMutt Foundation – creating livable, enjoyable outdoor spaces for everyone.

“Kentucky Humane Society did a perfect job preparing Sunny for her new family, and we couldn’t ask for a more perfect puppy for our grandson to love,” Debbi praises. “Thank you all so very much for all you do for the animals!”
