July Mutt of the Month: Ace

Our July Mutt of the Month takes us all the way back to the beginning of a very special tradition. Ace – an adorable, blue-eyed American Bulldog mix – was adopted at one of the very first Mutt Madness pet adoption events back in 2021.

Before she even set foot inside Equip Exposition that year, Ace's mom, Jacqui, saw the Mutt Madness promo and joked to her brother that she might be in trouble.

“My two boys had been begging for a dog,” Jacqui remembers.

As fate would have it, Ace’s mother was also at the event, giving Jacqui the chance to meet and play with her and the entire litter. Amidst all the puppy energy, one gentle pup stood out. Jacqui fell for the quiet, blue-eyed boy and officially welcomed Ace into the family.

After a busy, exciting day at Mutt Madness, the sweet pup slept all the way to his new home. "He's such an angel," Jacqui says.

Ace instantly bonded with his new brothers. In fact, Jacqui’s youngest son still reminds her all the time: “You picked the perfect one!”
