Meet May’s Mutt of the Month, Ma’am

Ma’am was just a puppy when she was adopted by Kelly Jaggers at TurfMutt’s Mutt Madness pet adoption event in 2022. The chocolate lab mix caught Kelly’s attention immediately. “When I met her, she laid her face on me and it was love at first sight!” he remembers.

Kelly lives in Louisville with roommates who also love the little dog. “She’s fantastic! She loves my parents’ dogs, and she has a golden retriever friend who lives upstairs,” Kelly reports.

Ma'am a smarty pants who quickly learned important tricks and manners like sit, paw, down, and stay. Ma’am is full of energy and really loves to chase the ball. “We just got matching hoodies, which she loves,” Kelly says.

Mulligan’s Mutt Madness is held each year at Equip Exposition in Louisville, the tradeshow that brings together the people who create the yards that pets and their people enjoy. Over the years, more than 40 dogs have been matched with their humans thanks to Mutt Madness.
