Encourage Your Kids to Be Backyard Superheroes Like TurfMutt!
The Dust Busters activity is perfect for kids in grades 6-8 and encourages them to conduct a simple experiment to explore air pollution in their community. The lesson teaches kids that the dust we see – and the dust we can’t see – is actually particulate matter composed of stuff like pollen, dead skin and other substances. When we breath this in, it can have a negative impact on our health.
The downloadable activity includes all of the supply notes, instructions and discussion points needed to successfully complete the experiment.
